MID AND DISTAL THIRD FRACTURES

• <5 years - 20 degrees

• <10- 15 degrees 

• >10 years 10 degrees

PROXIMAL THIRD FRACTURES 

• <10 degrees

MANAGEMENT

• Analgesia

• Above Elbow Cast- straight ulnar border, elbow at 90 degree flexion, interosseous moulding.

• Fracture clinic

REFER ORTHO IF:

• Open fracture

• Neurovascular injury

• Extreme swelling/compartment syndrome

• Unable to achieve acceptable alignment.

• Further fracture same limb

• Fracture associated with dislocation
