Medial Third Clavicle Fracture

RARE: 5% of Paediatric Clavicle Fractures

Normally associated with direct trauma to anterior chest- RTA

Associated wth Neurovascular injuries, pulmonary and cardiac injuries.

MANAGEMENT

• ABC -? Trauma Call

• Protect airway

• Analgesia

• Refer ALL to On Call Orthopaedic- Consider CT for ? sternoclavicular dislocation,tracheal impingment, thoracic injury.
